The Pope says that politicians that support the murder of innocent babies (the politicians like to call it abortion or a woman's choice) face excommunication.
He was speaking aboard the Papal Plane which was taking him to Brazil. He was referring to Mexican Church Leaders who had talked about excommunication of Mexican politicians, but it applies to ALL politicians in ALL places.
(Uh oh...)
These scurrilous politicians would not be able to receive communion. This is some of what the Pope said:
"Yes, this excommunication was not an arbitrary one but is allowed by Canon (church) law which says that the killing of an innocent child is incompatible with receiving communion, which is receiving the body of Christ.."
Way to go, Pope!
