"Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, a virgin (maiden) will be with Child and bear a Son, and she will call His name Immanuel (God is with us)."
"Then a shoot will spring from the stem of Jesse, and a branch from his roots will bear fruit. And the Spirit of the Lord will rest upon Him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of council and strength, the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord."
"Now the birth of Jesus was as follows. When His mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph, before they came together she was found to be with Child by the Holy Spirit. And Joseph her husband, being a righteous man, and not wanting to disgrace her, desired to put her away (divorce her) secretly. But when he had considered this, behold, an angel appeared to him in a dream, saying, "Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife; for that which has been conceived (begotten) in her is of the Holy Spirit. And she will bear a Son; and you shall call His name Jesus, for it is He Who will save His people from their sins." Now all this took (has taken) place that what had been spoken by the Lord through the prophet might be fulfilled, saying, "Behold, a virgin shall be with Child, and shall bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel (Emmanuel)," which translated means, "God with us." And Joseph arose from his sleep, and did as the angel of the Lord commanded him, and took her as his wife (took his wife to himself), and kept her a virgin (was not knowing her) until she gave birth to a Son; and he called His name Jesus."
Youssef Samir Megahed, 21, was a passenger in a car with a fellow
University of South Florida student when they were stopped for speeding
near a Charleston, S.C., Navy weapons station in August. Megahed's
attorney contends both men, who are of Egyptian descent, were further
detained and illegally searched based on "racial profiling."
Could the fact that these two terrorist-wannabes were SPEEDING have anything to do with the fact that they were stopped by the police?
Or could the fact that "Authorities found ammunition and materials to make pipe bombs in the students' car" have anything to do with the arrest?
Regardless, it's a known FACT that not all Muslims are terrorists, but ALL Al Qaeda terrorists are Muslims.
So-called "racial profiling" is a tried and true crime fighting technique. So-called "racial profiling" works.
"Seek the Lord and His strength; seek His face continually."
Notes: 1. Psalm 105 is one of the "Historical Retrospect" Psalms. This Psalm recounts and celebrates the exodus from Egypt. 2. Cross-reference this passage to Psalm 63:1-2. 3. "seek His face continually": cross-reference to Psalm 27:7-10. The God of our salvation!
"O Lord, Your face is the One I seek. I need to know You; need to be closer to You; need You to guide me throughout my days. Lord, glorify Yourself through me and prove Your perfect will through me. Forgive me of my sin and live Your divine life through me. In Jesus' name I ask these things; Amen."
"You were running well; who hindered you from obeying the truth? This persuasion did not come from Him Who calls you."
Notes: 1. The question is asked, "who hindered you from obeying the truth"? The answer is clearly the insidious subterfuge of Satan; he wants to destroy your daily fellowship with God, and then destroy your eternal life. Although he cannot take that eternal life from you, which is the gift of the very life of God Himself, Satan can destroy your confidence and obedience to God, therefore destroying your usefulness to God here on earth. 2. "This persuasion did not come from Him Who calls you": GOD NEVER ACCUSES YOU! If your spirit is being accused, IT IS NOT GOD WHO IS ACCUSING YOU! God CONVICTS you; i.e., disciplines you to know His good, just and perfect will, but never tells you how worthless you are because of the sin that you commit. He tells you in your own conscience of your sin, and then offers saving life and forgiveness. ALWAYS. 3. God is continually in action on your behalf; He constantly "calls" you to Himself. He "calls" you to peace in His life through the Person of His Son, Jesus Christ the Lord. God's goal is to make you perfect through His own Son.
"O Lord God, thank You for You incomprehensible mercy. Thank You for Your saving life, through the shed blood and life of Your Son. Forgive me of my sin, and live Your perfect life through the members of my body. I ask these things in the blessed name of Jesus. Amen."
